You wont go wrong w/ Mark. Herring are starting to show. Blackfishing is good. Have fun.

If I was hiring a guide in Montauk I would also talk to Jimmy George. He's the maker of The Montauk Secret Spoon and has put his clients into more bigger fish consistently then anyone out there. Hes out of Gone Fishing Marina. Nice guy Ive kept my boat there and talked to him, always willing to help another fisherman out.

Mark is a hard working guy who will get you into fish. Sometimes his call on fishing when conditions are boreder line is a little questionable, but that 39 BHM is one tough boat.

Im gonna agree with you on that. If I was gonna be in some nasty weather, that 39 BHM is one of the few boats I would like to be on. Ive seen one plow through 6-8's doing 17knts with no problem.

I agree, I have done four trips on his boat, two I would have canceled. Ended up with excellent trips. Very hardworking captain, happy to teach and works right next to the mate. That boat is a beast. Excellent for winter cod trips as well.

Im not gonna lie, it takes a different kinda fisherman to run 30+ miles offshore in <20-degree nasty weather to fish for cod. Ill grow out of it someday myself. Until then, Im enjoying it....

Also another Excellent Bass Capt..

Likewise when we both Parker Pilothouse I was docked 3 slips away from him at Gone Fishin, great guy even before he made the spoon.

He is meticulous in the way he prepares for a trip, and his boat as well. Can't saw enough about him.

Hey Bill, just because you moved to FL doesn't you still can't have fun! Wait a couple of years, you may start dreaming of freezing your balls off again.

I wouldn't hold your breathe with that one

The few days after the Riverview was enough.
