Default NH Speed Limit

I heard that there will be a 45 MPH daylight and 25 MPH nighttime speed
limit on ALL New Hampshire waterways, and the penalties (points) will
go against the offenders drivers licence. As a by-product of this, I bet there
will be a dramatic increase in BWI arrests as well, as the LEO's will now have
even more reason to stop and board. This should make all of the go-fast guys
up on Lake Winniepausaki real happy.

What say Ye??? Good or bad thing?

cj, They just took the snowmobile law to the water.

I stopped riding in the white mountian state a long time ago.

How did they inforce it in the middle of the woods you ask? Same way as the highways...... RADAR.

Outrun them you say???? Good luck with some of the toys they had just around the bend.

Live free or die my a$$.

At least you don't need to pay money on their bottles.

My family had a house on Winnepesaukee for 20 years and both sets of grandparents had houses there since the 50's. We had to get the hell out of there a few years ago as it was getting out of control. All the idiots with the obnoxiously loud and cheesy go fast boats, morons flying around on jet skis, etc. Not the beautiful and peaceful place it once was.
It's too bad the idiot contingency has ruined it for everyone but maybe the 45 mph limit will make them realize the lake is no place for such ridiculous boats and they'll go elsewhere....
Oh and not all the douchebags were from MA.

Watch it CMP. That lake has been a zoo for at least 25 years. Don't blame on this state. We won't get into how much $$$$ the m- Sorry, I will learn to watch my language -s spend in the granite state. 95% of the place (the lake) is based on keeping up with the Jones'. Everyone needs twin 502's with thruhull straight pipes at 90 MPH to get to the other end don't they? I had a getaway place in NH years ago. I'll drive further than most (ohh I do that now ) just to get away from that mentality. Please don't come to Maine.

What waters do these laws cover, lakes and Rivers only? Does it extend to coastal salt water?
