Got invited out with two buddies from work Friday the 23rd. Fished around the Mantoloking bridge starting at about 8:30pm non-stop mix of keeper weaks and short stripers. Even during the wind and rain the bite kept up. Went through a flat of sandworms in four hours. Tide started really ripping around twelve and called it a night. Great time! Hope this was a sign of what is in store this fall.

Next time out, try the Gulp cut bait and save the sand worms. I have been consistently out fishing my buddies with gulp only on my hook and them using sandworms or killies.
