Default Downeast Boat

There was a boat built on the cape (I believe) at one time called a "FIB-Fab" built by Fiberglass Fabricators. Can anyone help with any info about this boat and if they are still around. I believe the molds were sold to another company.

FibFab is still in the little industrial park near the dump in Orleans. As far as I know, tho, they don't have the molds anymore. I know someone who has one and knows everything, so I'll try and get that info if I can track him down...

CMP

PS, it's not a downeast boat

I'm really not sure, I saw a 25' "Lobsta" boat that I was told is a Fib-Fab. I also know there is a charter boat in Chatham that is a Fib-Fab. I think it's Miss Jilian charters. They look like very seaworthy boats!!

Eastern,

Yes, the Miss Jillian appear to be a Fib Fab, why not drop Bruce Peters a line, he may be able to help you out now that the heavy season is over....

Tried that, He's not sure if they are even being made anymore. I'm hoping to find out if someone is building them somewhere on the cape.

My brother in law seems to think that Steve Law is building those boats. He is building out of new hampshire, i guess he is building 28 BHM lobster boats also. I saw a fib fab a few years ago at chatham boat works down the cape but my memory of the builder has since vanished. Good luck.
