Default Best tide to navigate the Shinnecock Canal

Can anyone tell me the best TIDE to exit Peconic Bay into the Shinnecock Canal and then out the Shinnecock Inlet? Hoping for a smooth ride back to home port in a new vessel.

Thanks

The canal is slack three hours after high tide at Manasquan inlet. Vicey versy for low.

What kind of boat? There are two lift bridges that will clear just about anything but a sizable sailboat. I think the normal clearance is 30-35 ft without a lift.
