Hello All:

A few weeks ago I tried to get into the Narrow River from Narragansett Bay. It looked like the only way was S of some large rocks just off the beach. Someone else after me seemed to make it, but it looked like he and the swimmer were mixing it up pretty good.

I gave up after a while and went home. I was trying to get past the beach to the backside of the beach by the Dunes club where everyone anchors.

Any insight would be appreciated.

That's the entrance. On the very north end of the Narragansett Town Beach. It's not too wide. I've never run that with my boat, but I have fished there from the beach and seen other boats enter and leave. The
channel isn't too wide and it doesn't look too deep either. But it sounds like you were in the right area.
