Eagle Marine - The Hull Truth

Does anyone have any information about Eagle Marine in Sagamore ,MA. They are a Hydra-sport dealer. How is their reputation and service?

Eagle has a good reputation. One of my buddies at the marina bought a HS 21CC and a 28WA from them. He swears by them.

I have never done business with them but have been at the yard a few times and have spoken to them at the boat shows. Seems to sell a lot of boats.

there was a guy on this forum last spring who had an absolute nightmare story. his Vector 24 had many issues from the factory and from dealer set up. If memory serves they even sold him the wrong trailer. He ended up having to bring his boat elsewhere to be fixed. I can't recall his screen name, but the saga went on for months. On a positive note, my brother bought a boat from them and has been happy with them. (but he hasn't had any warranty issues either)..

Eagle marine is a high volume dealer with tempting prices. After the sale service is questionable.

I bought a used HS, not from Eagle, but the folks at Eagle have always gone out of their way to help me.

I have purchased 2 boats from them,wouldn't hesitate to do it again. You will hear stories about any dealer that has been around a while. They have always been good to me and the guys I've sent to them. Tom
