Since BIRDMAN is overseas, I'll ask for him:

"NJ? Where's that?!"

Got 6"+ here already in Western Suffolk County, Lonk Island. It's only 6PM! The weatherman says at least 12"more with some araes going to 25".

You bunch of lightweights! We have predicted totals of 30-36" with the blizzard lasting 24 hours. Gusts to 60 mph from the Northeast. Windchill to -15. Figure I'd post before losing power.

Plowed the driveway twice today. Now I remember why I left Gorham, NH in 1968 and moved south to Connecticut. How do you guys up there handle it? I used to think of Massachusetts as "south" of me. We're only due for two feet of snow down here and that seems like a lot!

Whats south of CT and north of FL? Might be interested.

My end of New Jersey is calling for 18-24, only about a foot so far so i think its going to be on the low end of that report

It's just about stopped here in CT! Wonder how the boat fared under the shrinkwrap... Everybody OK out there?

Well, just finished digging out and cleaning the vehicles. Nice neighbors, two of them came over with snowblowers and helped us finish. This is enough snow for me, I got to hand it to you guys who live further north, the forecast I saw for Cape Cod was pretty bad. The work is done, time to drink to warmer weather and go watch the granddaughter play in the snow for the first time.

I'm taking a break from the snowblowing. Without drifting, I measured 27" in several parts of the yard. It is still snowing and also blowing like crazy! The good part is that the wind kept all the snow off the winter cover on the boat. They think we will be getting 6" more. To comfort myself, I am going to work on replacing my impeller prior to watching the Pats/Steelers.
