Default Atlantic Towers

Anyone know anything about Atlantic Towers located in Barnegat NJ? They have a decent web site and I'm interested in their Hard Top for my 21' W/A Sea Boss.

Looks decent, but they haven't responded to my emails.

Know of any other Top builders in the NJ area that has reputable products?

I have spoken with them several times about having a top made for my Bertram 28 that I just sold. Seem like a quality run place. I have heard nothing but good things about them. They sell a lot of product so they have to be doing something right. Wait to buy from them during boat show season or call them now and if there is a show in your area ask them if they already have display models for the show. If they don't you can get a swinging deal if you have them fabricate one for your boat and let them use it during the show. They were going to make a half tower for my Bertram and drop the price 25% if they could use it for the Boston show. I would just have to pick it up at the show and pay what I owed on it.

I bought a t-top for my Hydrasports from them. The service was exceptional even after a year, unfortunately the quality of the product wasn't that great. The welds on the top kept breaking. They did pay for my repairs and offered to send new legs for my top. The welder told me that the tubing was too thin. The new owner has removed the top after having it fixed twice.
I can't say enough about the service but unless they have improved the quality of the product I wouldn't buy from them again.

Third season with a half tower from them on my Trojan F36. Good quality and no problems.

Dakota,

Atlantic Towers did this one for a customer of ours over the summer. Took 3 weeks to get, arrived packed well enough to drop from a plane and fit on the boat perfectly.*It was*also the price quoted ($1200-$1300 range)and has held up well.

Of course no affiliation with them....

Try Jim at www.artekmarine.com too. He is a sponsor here on the THT*has several satisfied THT customers.

Try www.boattowers.com/ Much higher quality at a better price. Gabe uses thick wall tubing and does better welding than Atlantic. Tell him Charlie sent you and you may get a better price. He did a custom Radar Arch and bimini all in one for my 28 Bertram. He has done several tops for my friends.

25% off for being able to use it at a show? Keep your eyes peeled for Jim's (www.arctekmarine.com) 100% off special if he can use it at the show

Unless I'm missing something, I have yet to see one person complain about the quality of Jim's work.

C&C is the best I have found. From a T-Top to a full tower you can"t go wrong. They have been doing specialty work for us at Tournament Cable for years.
