John, I had a Makers in your honor earlier. Great game. Eagles fans were everywhere! Clearly a partisan crowd. Good bet both teams will contend next year. I'm spent.

Congrats on the win. But the Eagles did have a chance, but they blew it. The Pats didn't beat them, they beat themselves.

Congrats to the Pats. They played a tough, almost error free game. I thought that birds had them a little rattled early but pats were patient, made some adjustments on offense and took what the eagles were giving them. They looked just a little more big game ready than the birds.

For us eagles guys...we knew that McNab had to have a great game for birds to win. I feel bad that his performance will forever tarnish the spectacular season that he had. He hasn't thrown that many bad balls in a few years. The Harrison and Bruschi picks were horrendous throws. Also, i'll never understand why he doesn't tuck it away and run once in a while. He had a few chances when he avoided the blitz, had some open field, and still elected to throw.
The birds clock management was very poor. The birds were able to exploit the pats one weakness, their corners, and with a little more time they would have had one more chance to "steal" the game.

To end on a high note, Westbrook was real good and what TO did was amazing. Even the most ardent TO hater must give him his due today. Hey Pats fans... imagine how good he'll be next year on TWO legs!!!!

Great game.* It was definately much closer than I anticipated and I have renewed respect for the Eagles.* I agree that we may see a rematch next year.* In the NFC, I can't see anyone who will catch the Eagles.* For the Pats to make it again, it will be a tough road to hoe.

But with 3 championships in 2 years, it is easy to be a NE sport fan...
