just did my second montauk trip and had another great trip. guys on this board gave me some great advise for fishing the area and this trip put a 30# in the boat and lost 2 otheres. fished with an uncle that dosent fish much and he had a blast just catching the porgies we used for bait. with the tide we only had 3 hours of good tide before we had to leave and i had 2 good run offs and this was only the second time fishing this way and set the hook to soon. my my uncle had 1 good run off but went to set the hook with it in free spool and got a mess. the first trip my wife hit a 40# a 25# and 15# so its been a good season for me so far. cant wait to get out their again.
