im not knocking live bait, but if you have to work this hard for live bait there must be a better option.

Why not just go to any bait dock and bye a barrel for $85. Gotta be at least 200-300 in something like that......if not more

It makes ahuge difference if they are used for YoYo'ing. Frozens wont draw shit, tote fresh deads maybe 1 out of 10, fresh deads packaged 3-5 per bag, and iced in a salt brine, WITH the slime coat, will absolutely outfish the afformentioned baits 10-1! Maybe more. If its chumin & chunkin, fresh tote deads work pretty good.
