Triple surgeons... I can tie it blind folded, in the dark, on a rocking boat, in high wind.... and once you tug on it, it either slips immediately (because I messed it up despite my bragging above) or never fails me.
I would be more concerned with the super glue coming in contact with the mono, some super glues and rubber cement contain acetone that will soften plastics and when dry can chafe the mono.
