All fishing regulations have been dropped for 2010. Since the regs have all been based on ficticious #'s for years, the regulators have appropriately dropped all regulations. Good luck and enjoy!!

I think it will be one a season at 73" - and you thought that trophy Tuna was tough to get and not usually worth the effort!

I thought I heard in discussions where NY was going to go down to 20.5", two fish, and an open season of May 15 to August 29 as we were far under quota last year.

Actually the scuttlebutt is that NY came in under it's quota for '09. Also, the TAL are being increased for '10.

Combined, that means the regs shouldn't be any stricter than they were in '09, and may actually be slightly better.

Or not. Nobody knows yet.
