Default Cod fishing east of Chatham?

Anyone been lately? I have the itch but figured I'd ask before waking up the boat and running 30 cold miles.

If I go I figure on trying a few spots near chatham and making my way towards the Sword.

I'd try the Crab Ledge area. I've fished out there twice and did very well both times. I've been wanting to head up there but the 3 hour drive makes for a long day.

jbg,

any chance you're going out Wednesday? I'll be on Cape Tuesday and could go out Wednesday if you need a deck hand-

I'm not sure what day yet, It's a matter of weather and I missed a couple of really nice days last week. I'm hoping for Saturday if the weather is good. I'm flexible though if the weather looks better another day.

The Helen-H fished for the first time in a few weeks yesterday and I guess they did ok, but not great. I think they are fishing way south of where we fish. There may be a better pick up north. That's all I've heard lately.

A buddy fished on the Island Current out of Snug Harbor, RI the other day and did very well, that's all I have heard lately.
