Looking to get out again this week and wondering where the Tog bite is ? I landed a nice one yesterday in upper Narragansett bay to my surprise. Im hearing Whale Rock and Beavertail but yesterday was too gnarly to go out there.
Im going out again on Wednesday Thanks

Oh yeah, thanks everyone.
I think I will start at my spots and work south. Rock piles everywhere, and I know they are around.
One of my favorites to eat and fight. For a smaller fish they pack a punch.
I'll say, this past spring and now this fall have been my first time(s) targeting Tautog and we got them every time out, especially this past month/October.
It really was, anchor up near some rocks/rockpiles, put a green crab on the hook, drop it to the bottom and wait for the bite. What a blast and I think Tautog are now in the top 3-4 tastiest fish that I catch. Right up with Cod and Haddock.
