Shouldn't a 1000 pound trailer just be $20 per year?

I too just did a double take on the $120.00 WTF with this State and my little 900lb trailer is now $40.00 (maybe it was already $40 and I didn't feel the pain of being 'eff'd)

I'm still waiting for the twinkie tax! That will really save the day for MA

I think they did put a tax on a twinkie. Maybe even soda. I don't know.... I know my cup of coffee went up Aug 1 when the tax increase went through. The state is making a fortune since then. I wonder what they are doing with all the money? Ma is going to be rich! unless..... ooooops they are going to give everyone raises?

It's not just Ma...all these states have revenue shortfall and are increasing fees. Two vehicles and boat and trailer registration and all went up. The increase was about 60% for us....renewing our drivers license went up 120%. Get used to it, the worst isn't here yet....

Ahhh, the de-valuator strikes again. When are the voters in the people's republic of massachusetts going to wise up and realize that the leftist cabal that has run the place for all these years needs to get gone? My bet is that they will never realize it, never mind do anything about it...

I'm sure the isn't a whole heck of a lot of people here in Ma that don't realize the state is tucking it to us. I think its a private joke Barney frank is playing on us.

I use my trailer twice a year, to launch and to haul out! Just under 6 miles a year! I think if I get pulled over and receive a citation for no trailer registration the fine would probably be smaller than the reg. fee! Good thing I get along with all the local cops!

Just opened both of mine and my 20' trailer (3000lb)is only $60. OK I can live with that, then I opened my other one which is a 10,000lb trailer and it was $200. Not a bad deal for MA when I only use both trailers twice a season !!

Looks like it's back to the old days once again: Register your cheapest trailer and use the plate for everything and then let all your friends use it. OR just forget about it and gamble with a warning/ticket when you claim stupidity. I'm going with the stupid show !!!

Maybe this is one of their brilliant schemes to make up for the $600mil-$1bil shortfall that the state has right now.
