Default Value of wooden skiff

My father has a wooden skiff that was made for the local Barnegat bay boat livery trade. It is the same type of 16' open wood boat that was all over the bay in the days before fiberglass skiffs became the norm. The boat has some significant rot in the stem which will require some work. it has a cherry 9.9 Evenruide motor (late 80's vintage) that has been in the boat shed for 90% of the time since it was new. I was wondering if there is any value to the boat in particular. I am debating whether to try to sell the rig to someone with an interest in restoring the boat or maybe even giving it a go myself. But I have no time for that now. Another option is to bust it up for firewood?

Do a search and you will find there are companies that sell plans and even kits for wooden skiff at a pretty good prices. If what you have is the typical work skiff, I'd say, not much value.
