Value of wooden skiff My father has a wooden skiff that was made for the local Barnegat bay boat livery trade. It is the same type of 16' open wood boat that was all over the bay in the days before fiberglass skiffs became the norm. The boat has some significant rot in the stem which will require some work. it has a cherry 9.9 Evenruide motor (late 80's vintage) that has been in the boat shed for 90% of the time since it was new. I was wondering if there is any value to the boat in particular. I am debating whether to try to sell the rig to someone with an interest in restoring the boat or maybe even giving it a go myself. But I have no time for that now. Another option is to bust it up for firewood?
