Well respected/long time Maine Senator. Appears to be one of a few (only?) Republicans making an attempt at health care negotiations with Democrats.

Olympia Snowe is a very good senator and she sticks up for fishermen as much as (and possibly even more than) any other senator in the country. Her staffers are good people too. She would get my vote every time. That said, I have no clue what you are talking about in terms of calling her office...
