Too close for comfort is right! They have a lot of work to do and I am just glad they found a way to win. Although its going to SUCK if we lose Mayo for a long period of time. Hes a beast. A win is a win but they are not going to go very far unless they play better than they did tonight. They got lucky to have a chance to take the lead and against most teams we wont get so lucky. Oh well, 1-0!

The Pats tried to give it away in the 1st half! 4th and short they run a slant on the ground right into the "D" stength! Then Brady gets picked for a TD and a missed FG. There's 10 points right there! But Buffalo was well prepared with a sound game plan.Coach Dick Jauron is a good egg, I know him a bit and his brother Jack and knew his HS coachs.

A win is a win Glad they pulled it off..... I have a feeling we will struggle a lot this season with our defensive situation.......IMHO Brady had a 50/50 game and that interceptionTD brought him to his senses...... I gotta be honest when I saw that play I said to myself "Where's Cassel"

Go Pats!!!

Let me see if I get this:

You go to the game and complain and/or leave early to avoid traffic?

Richard Seymour will be missed - that's clear. We're weak at inside linebacker. Offensive play calling was just OK. special teams look good. Brady is only going to get better. Still, that was a win because McKelvin made a mistake - simple as that.

You can't say "Still, that was a win because McKelvin made a mistake - simple as that" that makes NO sense. Brady made a mistake too as well as Gostkowski combinine for 10 pts. If they don't make those mistakes Pats probably win big. There are mistakes made every game on both sides. 60 minutes of football were played and the Pats are 1-0. Thats the bottom line. You can't do the "if" this or "if" that happened then this would have been the outcome. IF my aunt had balls, she would be my uncle. Anywho, I was there and glad I stayed dispite the 1.5 hrs getting out onto rt 1.

I found the game very encouraging. Brady looked rusty in the first quarter, but improved throughout the game. In the fourth quarter, he was good ol' Tom Terrific again. The defense was not truly tested. That is the bigger question mark, IMHO

youd be bitter too if all you had were the Jets to root for !!! Oh the Yanks, Mets and Giants, Knickerbockers, Rangers, & Bills. How many champs in this decade?? 1 for the Giants, and I'll be honest, that hurt!! We have had 3 Pats, 2 Sox, 1 Celts!!

I'm not usually one to lay some blame in officiating but the roughing the passer calls seemed a bit absurd to me, especially the one in the endzone. It is football.
