We ran out to the mudhole and trolled 15 miles south towards the glory area,
no bites no knock downs, water temp was only 61 , lots of bait fish and small
skip jack jumping around but no big ones, radio chatter indicated it was the same
for others as well, water was like a lake, actually too flat if you ask me,

oh well theres always next year

Sounds like you guys missed it cause friday was great. Weather sucked but it was worth it. 3-6ft all day and the wind was really crankin. Marked tons of fish. Went 1-5 on bft. Missed a really nice one right at the boat, probably our over fish. We were chunkin with about 7 boats out there, place was empty, so nice to see. We were down to 25 and 30 lbs leader but it was getting us hooked ups. We also had a bunch of bonita and albies. There was a HUGE weed line on the way out saw a nice mahi but could get any action. Hit it on the way home but it was pretty broken up by the end of the day. Took about 3 hrs on the way home with a few stops for mahi. (usually 1h45m) Even though it was perfectly flat inshore, about the last 6 mi.
