Check the Herald's home page: "Pol Nabbed on New Hampshire Booze Run."

Pretty funny all the NH people ragging on MA and how bad it is, and the MA people boasting about not paying sales tax, where do you go when you are sick and need good medical care? not NH, where do you go when you want to watch a sporting event? not NH, Where are all the good schools? not NH
If MA is so bad then stay out, just don't be a hypocrite.

Dartmouth , Exeter, UNH etc. Not bad for a state that still has only one area code.

And, if you go to Elliot, Parkland , Dartmouth Hitchcock, etc. English is the FIRST language.

I am a proponent of a NH state income Tax so we stop sending so much loot to the commies in MA.

Mac and Poon, it's not the people or the land I despise, it's the polo and ridiculous tax poicy. As to health care, I agree, Boston holds the best, BUT they're also private entities, not state-supported, as far as I know...

That is a riot.....dumb butt Mass politicians....what do you expect
I've lived in mass my whole life, been self employed here for 16 years IT SUCKS!!! Pole smoker Barney and the Anti Business Deval have done nothing to make this state attractive......Hospitals throughout the commonwealth are in financial trouble thanks to the Mass Health "give away" program, Businesses are closing their doors thanks to the tax hike, and my boys education is good because I front the extra $$$ so they have good books, computers, bus transportation, and TP to wipe their A** in the event they need to take a $**T......

And the big dig.....the politicians out east can stick it up their arse.......I'll pay for it when I use it!!! Charge me $20 when I use it I don't care but don't take my tax $$$ to pay for an over priced pile of monkey snot

The state sucks period!!! But the fishing is good

Default Creeps...all of them

....what's ironic about the situation is that the people that are the most affected by such a tax are the constituancy that continues to put these creeps in office!!!!!

marlinman - you are so right. Ask most MA residents about their reps and they'll tell you they are the best thing since sliced bread. Kerry, Frank, Kennedy - fighting for the little man and yet poverty rises, unemployment rises, education suffers on and on and yet they are our heros. I have not been able to figure it out yet but I know I am tired of it.

You are talking about a state that voted overwhelmingly to keep the income tax. They are told by the globe who they should vote for.

Apparently people living in MA and registering vehicles in NH and other forms of tax evasion is a big enough issue that MA setup a anonymous tax fraud hotline, check it out, 1-800-IPAYTAX.

WHen I lived on the Cape, I had a pick-up truck that lived in NH but spent summers and most of the fall on the Cape. Well, I got into a beef with this arsehole, fat former town councilor in Barnstable, a jerkweed state employee out on a fake disability but playing 18-36 holes of golf every day. He thought I dropped a dime on him-which I had not (kinda wish I had)-and threatened me, pushed me, then I tuned him up in front of 7 witnesses. No charges. He was very embarrassed. A couple months later, I get a visit from the blg inspector (friend of mine) who tells me that I had a shed that was not permitted and oversized, both untrue. He checked it out and there was no permit needed. A week later, I get a visit from a cop, the same cop who had dealt with me and investigated a burglary at my home; a stand-up guy. he told me someone had dropped a dime about the truck being registered in NH. I explained the situation to him and asked who? He chuckled and said, "You already kicked his ass once." Had a good chuckle over that one. When I confronted him, he of course denied it, so I laughed and told him his little game had all amounted to a pisshole in the snow. He was not happy. So Mac, go ahead and drop a dime if it makes you feel good-it might not be what you think but please, at least have the balls to admit it when asked about it...

I have no intention of doing that, I could not care less.
Just showing it exists and people may to reconsider boasting about it.

I haven't seen anyone boasting about anything, let alone falsely-registering cars in NH. I must be missing something...

Hmm...

Could I register my next boat to my NH work address to avoid paying MA sales tax?
