Default Cheap accomodation in Block Islan (if possible)

Hi All,

Looking for a crash pad for an offshore trip on Block Island so can be down and dirty. Would be nice if you can walk to a marina.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Cheap and Block Island just don't fit together very well. Good luck.

Champlins marina has some rooms and slips, but you'll have to loose the "cheap" word.

I think the rooms above the Harborside are fairly reasonable. Close walk to Old harbor docks, but a bit of a hike to New Harbor. I'm not sure of the price but a shared bath room at the Narragansett might be cheap and you'll be right on New Harbor. Good Luck!

Champlins Resort is generally a sht hole, an expensive one at that.

Stayed at Narragansett Inn and kept the boat at Paynes Dock Sat night which worked out great. Except for the 4-7 footers in Block Island Sound Sunday morning heading back to Montauk....

Try The Island Home. Nice place and dog friendly. Right next to New Harbor. Easy walk to Old or New Harbor.
