Default Any comments on Garmin Radar compared to the rest?

I'm looking at the 4212, with an 18 inch 4kw dome. I've always liked the Garmin products for shear ease of use. I've heard lots of guys say Garmin is inferior but is it really? I have full confidence in there chartplotters, does anyone have any comments on the radar?

Thanks...
jf

I have a Garmin 3210 with 18 inch 4 KW radar.... I have owned any other radar so can't compare it too anything.. My unit works great easy to use and the overlay feature is nice....I think many people would say Furuno make the best radar, but for me the Garmin just seem to be a better overall choice... I will say I don't care for Garmin Fish Finders, I think they are just a little behind the pack in that area...

I have a garmin hd24 unit. On my last boat, I had a 24" 4kw RM radome.

I like the garmin better. I've never used the 18 inch model though.
