Default Saturday NW Corner Report and buddy boat?

Going for my first run out to stellwagen tomorrow. Looks like the weather might actually work in my favor for once.

Is anybody going to be out there...just in case? Channel 68 "Rode Rash"

Last I heard Tuna bite was still kinda infrequent over there? any good last minute reports?

I heard of a 68" fish caught on casting gear yesterday. Good luck!

Past couple of weeks sand eels and bass boiling in middle of bank. No tuna up that far yet. Lots of birds and whales as well. IF YOU TROLL THEY WILL COME!!

No tuna on the bank yet...??? That's not true...

Last fished the Bank on Saturday. Radio reports were of dogs, bass and blues all over the bank, south of the NWC. I saw 5 tuna caught and landed on the NWC...all trolled fish I believe...all befroe 11 AM.

Personally, I had no luck, lost a few sluggo's to some blues but that was it. But rest assured, there are some fish there. A friend of mine caught one on Monday on Southern Jeffries...440#.

Good Luck Capt!

I didnt have any luck on last saturday. We had to travel through some awful fog in broad sound out to stellwagen. Took me about 1 hour and 15 minutes to get there at about a 26 mph cruise and only used a 1/4 tank. i was happy with the results even though we didnt catch any tuna. I was not trolling since i dont have that big of a tank, i was jigging. I think i might invest in some spreader bars and give trolling a shot. i just need a couple of portable gas containers(just in case) Im going to be planning another trip as soon as the weather comes around again.

When i do go again, i will post again to see if anyone would like to join in. hell, there's safety in numbers and i dont mind sharing part of the catch and a coulpe of beers with anyone willing to come along!
