Default Charters and commercial fish reports don't belong here!

Charter information, commercial fish reports and other charter related activites must be posted in the Charter section, not in the general forums. Charter threads posted here will be deleted, not moved. Repeat offenders will also be "deleted".

Personally, I liked the local fishing reports the few charter guys submitted. I didn't think they crossed the line into the pure marketing arena common on other threads.

Default commercial reports

Who doesn't want to hear commercial reports? What little ones that get posted are interesting to read. It is always funny when a mate posts something out of ignorance that the captain didn't want out. Any locations and numbers of fish can only be helpful to rec anglers. It is also nice to get the facts first hand from the people who know the laws about different types of gear. The overzealous moderator needs to chill out.

What an a-hole! Charter reports are what most rec guys want to hear. Saves them time. As to commercial reports, what are talking about, maybe 4-5 posts a week? And most of them are about bluefin or YFT, again, something the recreational fisherman can use in his/her limited time available to fish more effectively. Get a grip, man...

with the price of fuel and limited days to fish due to weather, any and all reports are nice!! Guess this guy hates to stretch his money or fuel consumption. Must be nice to be rich!!

Thumbs up Fishing reports are helpful!

I'm new to this forum, but I think I speak for more than a couple when I say I'd rather spend more time fishin' than postin'! Leave the local reports here! Kick the ads out!

HI, I am a retired commercial Tuna fisherman and i can tell you this. Whenever you can get a Comm. guy to give you free information, TAKE IT. if you know the person all the better but if you don't you will eventually find out if he's on the up and up. Contrary to some beliefs, we are NOT all out to bash heads and give out bad information. Some people really do want to help. For those that may not have the time to post much or try to find the "Right thread" sometimes it is just easier to Forget it.

And yeah, although i know advertising is a necessary evil, I dislike it.

JMO !!!!

Agreed, keep posting the commercial reports! I want to know how the guys who are out 200 days a year are hitting the fish. The more info the better...

I'm pretty sure the regulars on this site are far more interested in bite info than what to name my Sea Ray,WTF over
