Default Romer Shoal numbers?

Does anyone have numbers for Romer Shoal they can share? I'm looking to fish it this weekend, never been up to the hook. Any advice about clamming for stripers there? How much bait for 3 people for a full day? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Fish Roamer on a regular basis. Anchor up east of the light house. Best on an outgoing. Get a two gal bucket of clam bellies to chum and and two dozen fresh clams. use a fishfinder rig with 3 oz sinker. The Shoal is small so any place is ok. Check out the photo section titled "Just Kid Stuff" to see what my 14 year old caught and released yesterday on Roamer Shoal.

Flynns Knoll is a good spot as well. You can also head down to Keyport in the Raritan Bay and fish the number one can just ouside the harbor.
