Default WHITE MARLIN & LIGHTNING STORM-VIDEO

Well here is a cool short video by Cody>>>>>>>

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...16728873365104

After a long boring trip at West Altlantis with no eatable fish to show for the lightning and the little white marlin, that was all that really happened, we came home early through because of a huge lightning storm. Alfred is usually the 1st person to say to go in because of dangerous weather . . . but, this trip he did not want to go in and thinks we could have hunkered down and sat out the storm.

Even I thought we should go in because that lightning was crazy. For whatever reason, this trip, the dolphin were very active, lots of bait down deep, more so than on a usual trip as well as lots of big turtles.

But all together, it was cool seeing Cody catch a little white (maybe 25-30lbs) I would have rather been catching even some of those small yellows in The Tails which we were attempting to run back to before the storm really became large and very dangerous looking. 400-miles long x 100-miles wide coming right at us. But, no big deal there is always next time to bring home some yellowfin for the BBQ.

Marty do you fish with Tred Barta? I am sure you are on one at least one of his shows. i think it was bass fishing with eels at night in the north rips.

Whose harbness and rod holder are you using in the blue marlin video and how do you keep all of those lines from tangling?

thx

Ed

Yes, ENCAA5,

I have done three shows with Tred, Stiper fishing, Air Rescue at Sea annd a Duck Hunting show. I use Braid harnesses and Gimbles. As far as the tangling of the 11 to 13 rods we roll. I have set up seven of them on the five riggers, four on the outriggers to the sides, then three held up from the corners and center riggers which keep the lines in close to the transom, in a school around the five transom rods. I can make a U-Turn in two boat lengths and no tangles. Te setup works very well. Mty

HI Marty,

Those were some of the best Barta shows. I don't watch anymore since he has tried to be a comedian and forgotten the how to of the shows like you did with him.
