Random Quote: Opinions are like a-holes...everyone's got one and they usually stink.
ummmmm......the place looks like a giant junk yard of sh*tbox boats and motors. That doesn't mean they don't do good work or have good deals that just means there appearance will keep me farrrr away!
I don't know the first thing about this particular outfit, but I'd ask a general question; Do you really want to buy a rebuilt motor from ANY rental joint? I've rented from good and bad places and wouldn't consider buying anything fom either type...

I love sashamy sportfishing the captain and crew are great guys.....there that is my nice gesture for the month
They're not a really rental place, I don't know why that's in the name - they do rebuilds. And I don't really care about your opinion of the place based upon what it looks like from the street as your driving by.
I was asking for opinions from those who have done business with them, or know of someone who has.
well there nelly furtado I had a motor rebuild by them and it runs great and they were not that expensive, mos of the lobstermen in plymouth have bought new and older rebuilts from him....I have done business there, like I said , the rental aspect is not as much as a repair shop now a days...
I've used them extensively for the past several years. I had a problem with my prior boat (OMC 260), that I had several shops looked at (including Brewers Marine, Slips, a couple at Lake Winnipesaukee, and two other shops in Plymouth) and were unable to find the cause of my problems. Ron (from Atlantic) had it for about an hour and correctly diagnosed the problem.
I've used him ever since. Ron really knows his stuff.
They worked on my Merc, dropped it off and it was ready the next day. Then I found out that there prices are a lot less than on the Cape. They are always busy too!
