Default FLW STRIPER TOURNAMENT

I'm planning fishing this tournament in April looking for some advice on some locations and what method works best. Any captains out there willing to share some information.

No disrespect intended but if you have to ask that question why are you entering a tournament.. you will be competing against people with a lot of experience. If your asking about methods you ain't ready... location depends on what location that specfic FLW tournament is...

Fortescue N.J area. I know that my Team is cpmpleting against the best of the local area has to offer but My team adapts to any given area and the last two years my team has finish in the top ten teams in the nation. I have never fish this area before thats why I asked the the question.

If anyone is stupid enough to give you any info at all half the state would be on that spot
Do your work and it will be obvious where to go and at what time to be there

all
Is there any talk about this being the last year for the Striper series or do you think it will continue past 2008. I like the format of catch and release as well as the slot limit vs. killing the fish for the ASA's. It will be a costly adventure fishing all the tourny's with gas rising in price evey week. Good luck to eveyone this year. I'm hoping just to do as good as last year.

I think it will continue but like you said gas and disel could stop many of the teams from fishing all the tournaments. My team has fished in nine FLW tournaments in the last two years.

Mike
Do you still have your 24 Cape Horn. Can you tell me your cruise speed and top end speed with the boat loaded down.
Thanks,
Carl

Your're refering to Team Doubled Up Lowrance Capt. by Steve who is one of my best freinds . You can reach Steve by email www.doubledup@charter.net. Team Doubled Up fishes out of a 218 sailfish.

I emailed Steve. Do you have any idea of the cruise number is on the cape horn with twin 150hp's as well as top end fully loaded.
Thanks,
Carl

The boat is a sled! I have fished on it and have been passed by Ocean Kayaks in 3 foot seas.

There is a Capt Howard that supposedly one of the best Bass Fisherman in the North East. I have been told he can work a rubber shad like no other.

Do the homework yourself. If you would have offered me a better contract than Doubled Up Team Lowrance I would have done all the homework for you.
