late Report Blackfish at 17 on Island current 1/12

Went out on the Island Current last Saturday. Capt James made 4 drops. The fist 2 produced a stready pick of ling all around the boat with a few keeper blacks.

Made the move out to 17 fathoms and the blackfish started biting a little better. Ended the day with lots of ling, 5 keeper blacks including the pool fish at 9-10 pounds( did not weigh it). Ill post a pic when I get it. Ling ate clams and the blackfish were caught on white's.
