Default Mechanic recommendations? Salem/Beverly area

Hi sorry to be a pain - can anyone recommend a mechanic that does routine service (start up/ winterize mostly, maybe do the bottom paint) for an inboard engine.

I thought I could go to J&W on Bridge street but they don't do inboard motors. Oh and yeah, if they don't mind dealing with a girl that would be a plus too!

Thank you.

Liza,

Where is the boat now? I thought you were storing it down the end of the Danvers River, if so, Portside Marine works.
Port Marine in Beverly also works. I'm sure Hills over in Beverly could work on it as well. If I remember it's on a trailer?

Tell me it's already winterized.....

Going to the Boat show?

Hi! Yes it's winterized, on it's trailer and tucked away in Danvers, I am just worried about getting it all sorted out so I can have a smooth launch this spring.

I just wanted to sort of establish my self somewhere as a customer now, so once spring rolls around I can get work done if needed. Plus I need to get it hauled from Danvers and bottom painted as it will be on a mooring all summer. Plus once I'm working with someone they can do my winter stuff for next fall.

A friend (guy) said I have to learn guys are in the moment and women tend to look ahead and plan/worry. I think he is right I am still waiting for call backs on mooring stuff and hauling stuff for the spring.

Oh and yes - I'm going to the boat show on Saturday or SUnday - haven't made up my mind yet on which day.

Liza

Ryan Marine in Marblehead has an excellent reputation. They will pick it up and do whatever service you need. They do not do moorings. Give Mark Ryan a call. He has never been anything but helpful. He will probably treat you better being a women.
