I would think that Lucky's Lounge on the corner of Congress St. and A St. (355 Congress St) would have the game on. You wouldn't know it was there because there is no sign but it's a great place with good food and drinks.
I would also think that it would be on at LTK on Northern Ave and maybe the bar at Mortons right there as well. All a short walk from the convention center.
Across the way from the main entrance of the convention center, over where the in water show is, right next to the Spirit of Boston dock, good place with a couple of flat screens.
You could also travel into depths of Southie for a beer and a beat'in.
RE: Lucky's- because it's not a sports bar, people don't normally go there to watch games. During the Red Sox playoff run, the place was empty. Everyone was at home watching the game or at a real sports bar.
If you want to be within a very short walk the places I mentioned have a bit of atmosphere. If all you care about is the game I would follow GF's recommendations...
I just got home from the show. Boy, was it dead. Hopefully it was just the game.
Foot traffic at the show was great from opening until around 3 or 4pm and then tapered off very quickly. In fact I was surprised how busy it was. Back again tomorrow...

Looks like I went at the right time then. I had zero wait to get on any boat I wanted or to get any question answered. The free ice cream was nice also.
My favorite was the ocean 37 billfish. A lot of potential there, but priced about $100k high for this market I suspect.
It wasn't unusual to see discounts of up to $100k on the stickers. Obviously only on the hiher end boats, but lots of reality checks going on.
Also the bert 36 they had on display was a 2006? What's up with that?

Not a big fan of the Boston Boat show being in January. Pats football rules, as they are finding out with the low attendance on the day of the game, which happens to be a SATURDAY! Plus all the other playoff games going on during the weekend, this is a very dedicated fan base of the NFL. Feb was a much better month for the show, closer to spring and after the superbowl. What were they thinking???????? Hope all the vendors have a say in the matter, wait till next weekend, no lines again I'm sure.
With the championship game on a 3:00 PM next Sunday (last show date) I imagine attendance will be sparse at best. This along with last Saturday's game and today's snowstorm the vendors are taking a pretty good hit. Hopefully next Saturday will be a blockbuster day and everyone will come out a see a great show.
