I'm heading to the Boston show tomorrow, anyone have any suggestions of boats that are a must see???
Thanks!
There were two wooden express boats, 30' and 36' that were just unreal, they were in near the Hinckley picnic boat and some sailboats. I cannot remember the name, from the outside they looked impressive, the inside was 10X better.
According to the rep, that FJORd is a 40 foot open boat with twin diesels. It's primer gray and the top deck has basically a picnic table, a stove, and a blender. It's base price was $540,000 plus options. There is one state room under the deck in the bow area as well as a full bathroom. The rep told me the boat as shown is somewhere north of $700,000.
The rep told me the boat is marketed toward those who want something no one else has.
Paul, Was it that super $$$$ fabric and foam that doesn't leave you with a wet a$$? Nothing worse (or could it better) than entertaining some super hot bow babe and getting her shorts all wet.
Heading there in the afternoon Thursday.

I've never been a racist. I don't like the white half either.

The great part about this boat is that what appears to be a dull, matte primer finish is actually a color specifically ordered by a customer. Maybe someone wanted their boat to look like it would absorb radar.
Otherwise, it's an eye-catching boat which will turn heads in the same way a Lamborghini draws attention as it rumbles down Main Street USA.

I was'nt impressed either. I thought the Rampage 41 was a decent boat. The Bertram 36 was a POS ,terrible glass work, not to mention the design. Many center consoles, which seem to be the trend these days. What the hell is that Fjord made out of? I did not go on it,but was banging on the hull ,and it did'nt seem to solid to me.I looked at from a distance a Luhrs express, and that did'nt impress me too much.Dinky little tubes on the tower with the nav lights attached to it and what looked to be exposed wires. I picked apart just about every boat there including the Hinckley I went on.

Both were made in Turkey I'm sure with a large consumption of Opium. $850K for the 36'
