Oh my god its finally over. Now I dont have to keep looking off my stern to see if theres a guy in a peterbilt out on the NW corner with me.

Have these guys ever used a VHF before...... I kept checking my cd player on the boat thought it was playing "convoy"

They were using 8 for awhile. They were actually telling people to "get off, this is our working channel" -joke- bunch of us have been using 8 since the beginning of time. guess maybe they finally realized that cause they moved. have you ever heard a thicker drawl? these boys must be fom texas.

They were just doing their job but with all of the power on VHF I thought they were in the cockpit with me. It was a pretty impressive project and those good ole boys have some large OSV'S with lot's of mudbugs coming out of those galley's.

True story,

I was out at the NW corner with my lines out. Next thing I know, I turn around and had to slam the throttles. I just missed getting hit by Kenworth pulling logs. Right behind that there was a cabover pete with a reefer.

Im lucky I was able to avoid them.
