I have heard sporadic reports of Bluefin at the Glory Hole and Chicken Canyon, but nothing solid. Also heard on Noreast.com of some closer in by the HA Buoy, so you might save some time/fuel depending on where you hail from.

On Wed. Itrolledsouth of cholera and north & south of monsters ledger with no results. I found two to three or moredegree temp. breaks at each location but nada. There were a half dozen or so draggers south of cholera right on the temp. break. I also talked to another boat fishing at Mudhole/Glory Hole and they had no knockdowns as well. I was using cedar plugs and spreader bars, the other boat was using ballyho and daisy chains.

Hope you do better.

head out to the glory hole and start trolling to the resor. if you guys use paid temp chart services check out the chlorophyl and turbidity charts, they will point you in the right direction.

Went to the Glory Hole Trolled around for about three hours and nothing Sp I trolled to the Chicken Canyon on the wa we had a few Knockdowns but no hookups.
Trolled around the Chicken Canyon had one good double set of hookups one a Dolphin and one a Skipjack The dolphin came off the hook about 20' from the boat and the skipjack I was reaching down to bring it in and he said no way and shook and got off. After that we had one more knock down but did not hook up.Water temps were a little cold
Like CAROLINA said it was FLAT you could have had a canoe out there.Left around 1:00 and was back at the dock around 2:00 58 mile run to my marina. A great day

Well we made the best of some rough conditions, Left Manasquan inlet at 5am and it was pretty bumpy and tightly spaced. We ditched the Glory hole and started trolling at the Little Italy. We started off with a nice Bull Dolphin that went 25lbs. We trolled out to the edge of the hole and set up to chunk.. In the First half hour we had a really nice Mako on 2 huge jumps very close to the boat and then a long run to the bow and he was off ( we were fishing mono leaders for tuna).. Picked up later and troled back to Little Italy without a touch..

Made a good trip out of the bad conditions..
