Ron , You take a copper piece of wire(any scrap wire will due) make a 9" dia ring add sinker put the wire through the head then the meaty part of the tail one by one until the ring is full tie on your line. This is only cost effective if you have a free supply of killies.

Crabbing report good luck point Bayville nj July 29th. Mike s., Nick PVC and the O 3 dozen in 8 hours of line crabbing lots of small females(I mean she crabs) all over the place. Most of the keepers were caught on chicken necks and backs. Crabbing reports from toms river to forked river seemed to have the same tone tons of throwbacks about 20-1 to keepers mikes boat matched that percentage. Water temp was 83 surface. Mike also noted a higher percentage of doas in his bushel probably due to the heat. The big question around the docks and boats was "Does the the full moon help or hinder crabbing production?". A lot of rain hinders it that's for sure.
Must be something in the bait. I had 4 commercial traps out for 2 days checking them 2 times a day and got 12 good keepers. I was between Lanoka Harbor and Good luck point.
