Default Raritan Bay bass 5/5

Headed out Saturday around 6:30 with my son, father in law, and a friend. Loaded up with bunker in Great Kills and headed to my favorite spot.

End of day tallies, about a million blues with 2 nice bass, 1 @ 36" ( with a federal reward tag attached) and 1 @ 34"

We were back at the dock by 12:30.

Not a bad day.

jbehr,

Similar report here..... headed out Saturday morning on my first run with the new boat (Jones Brothers 23'). Picked up bait in Great Kills early, found two stripers and a ton of blues. You beat me on the size of the stripers. One was about 34 inches the other, barely 23 inches.

We were south east of the light, away from the fleet.

We will be out there again Saturday (charter) and Sunday fun trip.
