could someone help me out with some fishing spots for hempstead harbor area. (new to boating) GPS spots would help. thanks!!

I'm out of Glen Cove and we fish along the "Elephant Herd" on the western side of the Harbor as well as Matinecock Point a little further east of the harbor, Execution Light and the surrounding rocks are good too. A lot of other guys go back into the shallows in the head of the harbor too, but it gets shallow with lots of sand bars. Occasionally we also fish around Hart Island. I wish I could say we are very successful, but it's fishing!!! Our regular productive spots are these:
Porgy's - daytime on western side of Hemp. Harbor close to shore by the Sands Point Mansion - Stripers in that area too usually at night. Fluke/Flounder near beach between Web Institute and Weeks Point jetty. Black fish - south side of execution in deeper water (40-50 feet).
