anyone know anything about them?friend want's me to help him buy a slip there.all i know is its in NY.i think city island.don't know for sure.any and all info would be great .

It is located on City Island in the Bronx, NY. I don't know if it is the same entity that it once was... there is a North Minneford and a South Minneford Yacht club, but I don't know what dockage they own, if any, nowadays. Last year there was a fire at one of the other remaining yact clubs (Morris Yacht Club).

The last I heard was that Minneford ( don't know if it is one or both) was now owned and run by Boat Max and Freedom Boat Club also was involved. When I grew up in the Bronx, it was never easy to get slippage down there since it was real 'exclusive' and you had to 'know' someone.
