Default Looking for a slip that can hold a 57' Sportffisherman with 18'5" beam

Hello Guys,

I'm new here, so I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but here goes...

I'm about to do a major upgrade from a 30' Sportfisherman to a 57' Sportfisherman with a 18'5" beam, but I'm not really sure where to find a slip in MA that would accommodate her. I'd like to be as close to the ocean as possible since I plan to mostly do off shore fishing with her. Does anyone have any suggestions on what marina's (Preferably around the Cape) that might be a good choice for her?

She's currently down in Florida and I'll be hiring a delivery captain/crew to bring her up in the next couple of weeks so I'm hoping to have a new slip ready for her.

Any info/advice on where/how to get her new home would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

-Adrian

You can probably get a slip at marina Bay in Quincy. I keep my boat there as well so PM and Ican give you the inside scoop if you are interested.

Best,

We fit 65 viking (19 beam) nicely in Sandwich, MA on the canal (this was my favorite marina), Provincetown, Hyannis like junior11 said, and Onset...depends where you want to fish offshore, if you are looking east of chatham it would be hyannis, but if fishing stellwagon bank it would be sandwich or p-town, if the canyons, then I would even look into nantucket or the vineyard. Good luck

Adrian,
Try Marina Bay on Boston Harbor. Great location, full service marina, and great staff. Very reasonably priced, too. Good luck out there!

You should be able to get that in New Bedford. Try Pope's Island, Capt Leroys, Fairhaven Shipyard. Not a great scene for foo-foo cocktail parties but a great location to fish the NE Canyons from and easy access to cheap fuel and ice (not that you care w a 65').
