Default Holland 32 stickboat (Sally G) on yachtworld. $165k Fair price or not?

Anyone seen the 1989 32' Holland "Sally G" on YachtWorld? It's listed most recently at $165k. Is anyone familar with the boat and do you think thats a fair price or will it sit longer? I have no idea how to post the link, sorry.

Well, its been for sale for a really long time now (almost a year). Maybe theyre asking too much considering its an '89...Beautiful boat nonetheless...

That Iguana is a sweet boat with room to square dance on, I remember walking through it in Boston one day. A lot of thought wet into bulding her, that is for sure.

Nice rig, ,....but isnt that an awlfully large tower for a 10' beam?, she must roll like Cheech & Chong while at drift!

This isn't a commentary on any of the boats listed on this thread, I like them both alot - especially shawn's, I think that donnelle is awesome. But I think you are going to find alot of very nice tuna boats for sale this winter, and offers with cash in hand are going to take alot of boats at a substantial savings. Good time to be a buyer - wish I was one (but alimony is expensive).

I have captained a Donelle 43, she had super seakeeping abilities, 4-5 ft chop the day I had her, ran a steady 22 knots, fairly dry, glued spray rails installed. Cummins QSM 11 480 hp installed. This model with a small cabin and alotta deckspace seem to flex topside where the cabin and cockpit met. You could see this when she gets moved around on land and see stress fractures in that area.

Has anybody noticed that the Sally G is a V-Drive setup or am I looking at the picture of the motor wrong, I see the cabin bulkhead on the left and the motor pitching down that way. That's interesting.

dexy--

I noticed that as well. I have seen/heard of a couple Holland 32's set up in the fashion. Makes sense on a tender stickboat like the Holland, where more weight further aft could improve the weight distribution with the stand hanging off the bow. And, from the looks of the pic of this particular boat at speed, it looks like they got it right.
