Just a survey to find out what was your most productive squid bar this season?
I had my best luck with an all black with white stinger (got it from the Hook Up at the Providence fishing expo)
Pink 13 inch squid on a 48 inch bar w/ white stinger and a black 13 in squid on a 48 inch bar with a white stinger....yes for BFT....east of Cape Cod....
South it was random jet heads (GM, Pink Ilander, anything of similar shape) behind big pink birds....
rainbow for yft gr/zuccinni for bigeye/longfin
and although I hate running pink anything tough to beat for bft especialy after the sun gets low in the sky in the spring and fall
48 in bar with black 18 in black squid and a black and white stinger with a 2 foot custom black bird, 48 in bar first row of squid green the going 2 green and pink then all green with a pink white and orange stinger also with a 2foot bird. On eof my favorites on the swc was a braid blue mackeral 12 in lure that i would replaces with a stinger on the squid bars this caught fish and hooked a giant and spooled a 50 with 700 yards of 80 and a 130 dacron backing. deffinetly black or pink on stellwagon a freind of mine caught a 360 pounder on a black squid bar.
