Default Anything new on the text issue?

HDS & Platinum

The latest Lowrance update didn't seem to change anything.
I think Lowrance is still waiting for the fix from Navionics but
my last email response form them they showed little interest
also.
At this point I don't really care as the HDS is a wonderful sonar
and the Lowrance built in charts work as they should.

But I will remain hopefull.

I will ask the question again. However, I am pretty certain it still has that "the engineers from both companies are working on a fix" answer. As to when it will be addressed, I'm not certain. However, I am asking the question of my Team again.

Jeff,
I have exchanged several e-mails and had a few phone conversations with Scott Costa and Josh Curry from Navionics in regards to problems with my 912P+ chart and HDS-10. The latest update from Lowrance has now given me use of the Navionics chart for the first time in almost 5-months since my purchase.
I did notice several typos on the chart and another post on thehulltruth mentioned that his depths are reading "upside" down and bathy data is not displayed.
I also suspect that fishnchip data is not being displayed on my chart, but will investigate further this week.
It would be great if Navionics would keep us advised of any updates or progress with their product working with Lowrance HDS. I know the products are new and the bugs are getting worked out, but the silence from both Lowrance and Navionics killing me and I definitely regret my Navionics chart purchase.
Hopefully after some time and experience using the chart in my local SoCal and Mexican, waters I will be happier with the product.

We have elevated the issue to Navico. We understand that they are addressing bugs as fast as possible. As soon as we have any new details we will post them. If you find any other issues please let us know. Thanks, Lydia-Navionics
