I've been getting them 18+ around the bay brudge area chumming up at channel edges in about 25 feet of water. 7/0 penn circle hooks with aliwive.

Sounds good, Floating bait? Im planning on docking in oyster harbour so thats close. Have you heard of anything happening on the troll out in front of the magothy? We used to do well there but its been a few years.

I've heard north of the bridge has been poor or very small ones. I tired it a few weeks back and got skunked. 2 oz. weights with fish finder rigs.

caught some long tail halibut there the other day, but a little slow on the rocks.anyone getting any blues?

We have been finding some breaking fish in Eastern Bay and along Poplar Island. Jigged up some 18 - 24" blues along Poplar last weekend along with a few rock in the mid to high teens.

Saw some breaking fish right at Thomas Point last night when we were bringing the boat back from getting serviced on Bodkin Creek. Too hot to stop and explore though.

Quite a few schools of 15 and under blues in the lower Potomac. A few to 24 from time to time. Best early, early AM or at sunset, although anything after 9:00 AM is too hot right now. Any one caught any Spanish?

Pretty much same here. Fishing near mouth of the Choptank. Chasing baitfish. Small blues. I've been doing decent around structure during the first bit of falling tide, in the evening. The occasional keeper rock, lotsa perch, too many hardhead. Been fun, keeps everyone busy, but too hot to keep after it.
