Hoping to drive from PA to OBX Friday late afternoon into evening. Route 13, Eastern Shore, Bay Bridge, VA Beach, 158, etc. but watching the weather and news reports it sounds like the end of the world. Should we make it another weekend? Any first-hand advice?

The hwy on OBX is already washed out in atleast one spot.I would go another weekend.

I live in Kill Devil Hills and my boat is on the lift behind the house (rock'n n roll'n at the moment). Definitely messy this morning (NE gusts into the 30's and continuous rain bands), and we have 2 more days to go. Remains to be seen how bad the flooding and beach erosion will be during high tides today and tomorrow but I think it could add up.

The CBBT has wind restrictions, a good amount of the tidewater area is flooded but by fri life should be back to norm just a little soggy
