Got the new edition of Tidelines today and it officially announcees the new executive director, David Smith. From speaking with Dave, I am very excited that he is the new executive director. He really has a good level head on his shoulders and really has big ambitions of moving the MSSA forward as the voice of Maryland Fisherman. I know he really seems to have a passion for promoting the sport and recreation to kids too. David also has been very approachable and pleasure to speak with. I look forward to strong leadership from him. If you get the chance please welcome and encourage him in his new roll! With so many issues on the table (planer boards, C&R, etc)
we need a strong united voice on the behalf of the Maryland Fisherman. Hopefully under Davids leadership we can achieve this!

Weather is looking much better for the weekend with much lighter winds for the MSSA beach and boat tournament. Providing an o2 sensor comes in today. I plan on fishing it.

I am hoping to get some more time to meet and talk with David this weekend there!
Also note that the MSSA has a new logo to go along with the new leadership... Here is the logo!
