Hi guys (and/or possibly gals) I am pretty much new to the area (Essex/Baltimore) and love fishing. I am pretty much used to farm ponds and rivers, but, since moving here have had a hard time finding a place to fish. Most places (Cox point, Turkey point, Rocky point) seem rather shallow, over fished and filled with bait fish only. Anyone know where to go, I am mainly wanting brackish like stripper or cats things of that nature. I heard blood worms were good for bait, anyone know where to go and what to use in my area?

Matt, try Ft. Howard. It is in Edgemere - should have a good chance of catching a rock fish or cat fish. Also, you can't go wrong with peelers for the cats and rock - grass shrimp will keep you busy with white perch. Another place that is closer to home is in Essex called Wilson Point - There is a park back off of Wilson Point Rd nearly right across the street from Martin State Airport. Hope this helps!
