Dobbins up in the Magothy, although the beach is no longer public. Only other beach I know of for raft-ups is Hart-Miller island. There are tons of coves in all the rivers that are popular raft up spots.
Dobbin's hasn't been public for many years, but it does not keep boaters who pile in and anchor up on the weekend from using the beach. Just be respectful and pick up your trash.
It's a nice ride across the bay from the South River. Chester River starts at the Northern tip of Kent Island. Conquest Beach is pretty popular you can probably google it and find it's location. We like going there because it usually does not have a lot of jelly fish and most people that go there are pretty decent. I'll get the actual coordinates this weekend.
Lots of little beaches and coves in creeks off the severn and magothy. Some are private community beaches but they cant kick you out of the water. Stay off the beach some and you are fine.
I just need to make a list of some so that we can find and visit them. At this point we've only been to one small cove off the South River that seems popular and just want to start exploring more.
