Default Cut The Grass Or Go Fishing? Jet Ski Fishing CBBT 7/30/09

I got home a little early today with plans of cutting the grass until I looked out over the water and saw it flat and glassy. I am very flexible and do not mind changing plans, so off I went fishing. Loaded every thing up and dropped at Messick around 1500 hrs. I had picked up some clams and eels at Pop's Bait and Tackle in Hampton, they are always well stocked with live baits. I was hoping to see some cobia on the way to the CBBT but did not. I did see plenty of dolphins while I was there. It was slow fishing for me and I anchored at three different spots off of the third island. The last place paid off and I caught four Spades and kept two. Wind picked up on the way back so I did not bother hitting any of the bouys on the way back. Back at Messick at 1945 hrs. I had a lot better time than if I had stayed home with the John Deere.

You must chase Spades, and that must have been you that I saw out at the Tower last summer while the Spades were around. Nice pics!

I am using a Nikon D-40 with a 70-300mm lense in most of the pictures.
